“How you begin doesn’t necessarily define how you’ll proceed. Believe that today is the beginning of anything you want;” this is something that Jassi Chhabra often says and in fact she leads her life as a live example of this statement.

She started off with a career in music, and eventually got married in a business family where she didn’t have to work unless she wanted to. However, determined to make something out of her life, Jassi Chhabra began her journey to find her true calling. With guidance of her friends, support of her family and appreciation from her husband, Jassi began to indulge into the beauty industry. Her first step into the industry was when she decides to take a course from Makeup Academy in London. Here she was motivated to introspect herself and find her passion. She is forever grateful to Hiten for showing faith and trust in her. She often says while recalling the time that, “If someone who barely knew her was so sure that this is what she is meant for, then there was definitely a spark that she must explore.” After this, there was no looking back.

From here she moved on to gain expertise and persuaded a number of courses in India as well as abroad to enhance her skills. Hiten has also travelled abroad on assignments owing to her technical mastery in makeup and styling. She was trained from hair academies of London like Vidal Sasoon , Toni n guy – Singapore, Saks academy, Jo hans Foard and makeup from fashion school of London and many more.

The best source of marketing for her to date has been word of mouth. This in itself shows her skill set, dedication, professionalism and her excellence.

Since from scratch to the tomb everything was built by her immense hard work, the situations always kept me humble and that’s how she constructed my “me” with “m”= “modesty” and “e”= “elegance. She believe that day-by-day nothing changes but making little efforts every day will totally transform us.

Whether PRP, Advance Make-up, bridal makeup, water proof, air brush technique etc. she has learned as well as innovated new techniques of her own which give her the edge over others. Not just makeup but she has also learned, is teaching and offers consultation regarding hair and skin related issues as well. She truly is a woman of the new age in India and leads by example. She lives by the saying that there is nothing that a woman can’t do if she believes in herself.

Today with help of her husband, Hiten Chabbra, Jassi Chabbra has established chain of salons which are christened as “Shades Skin & Hair Care.” Apart from this, she alvso has a lineup and setting up a new experience salon and spa chain under the name of “Spandan”
